Pressure SoundsKen Lack. UK reissue label Pressure Sounds has started the year in an old school vintage reggae style. Included in this 21 track album are tracks by Tommy McCook and the Supersonics.

From the late period ska years through to early reggae. When Ken Lack died in in Miami, Florida of a heart condition he left behind a unique set of jamajcan and should be remembered for bringing a more collaborative and cooperative spirit to Jamaican music. And the horn arrangements are classy and tasteful throughout the compilation.

The music, recorded at WIRL, Federal and Treasure Isle studios, is filled with the kind of creativity and attention to detail that has made Caltone records so collectable to this day. For the most part the album is full of rare rocksteady gems. Now the label has reissued a second collection of tunes from Blondel Keith Calneckaka Ken Lackand his group of labels, including Shock, Jontom and Caltone.
